Joseph P. Steeves

Joseph P. Steeves, 53, a Lowell resident, died following a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at a local healthcare facility surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Patricia E. (Lanthier) Steeves, with whom he celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on December 21, 2015.
Born in Medford on March 29, 1962, he was a son of Roy C. Steeves, Jr. and Carol (Atondi) Steeves.
Raised in Chelmsford, he attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
He was employed for many years by Middlesex Rental of Lowell.
A mechanic by trade, Mr. Steeves enjoyed cars and motorcycles.
He also loved the family pets and cherished time spent with his family.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he leaves four children, Cristi Lee Steeves, David A. Guilbeault of Columbia, SC, Tiffany J. Guilbeault and her significant other, Shawn P. Jeffers of Lowell and Sara E. Guilbeault of Lowell; three brothers, John Steeves, David Steeves and Earl Stewart; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, among whom are Mark Horne and his family with whom he shared a special bond. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
