Joseph Raymond Lessard

Joseph Raymond "Ray" Lessard, a resident of Pelham, NH passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016, at a local health care facility. He leaves behind a loving wife of 48 years, Denise (Baribeault) Lessard. He was 73.

Ray was born in Lowell on September 13, 1942, a son of the late William and Albertine (Beaumont) Lessard. He attended local schools, and was a professional painter for more than 50 years.

He enjoyed providing companionship, care and comfort to his mother-in-law, the late Rita Baribeault. In addition his interests included cooking, working in his yard and garden, and all things related to golf.

Surviving him besides his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Timothy Stone of Pelham, NH; a brother Ernest F. Lessard of Charlestown, NH; sister-in-law Celine T. Alexander of Newport, RI, brother-in-law Richard E. Baribeault of Whitinsville, MA, and sister-in-law Daphne E. Lessard of Lowell, MA; and many half-sisters, half-brothers, nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert E. Lessard.
