Dracut - Joseph P. Lacoy, 61, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at his Dracut residence following a long illness.
Born in Lowell on February 4, 1945, he was a son of the late George L. and Alice M. (Drapeau) Lacoy.
Prior to his illness, Mr. Lacoy owned and operated a flooring and carpeting business.
He is survived by two daughters, Noreen A. Arietti and her husband Ricardo of Wolcott, VT and Melissa Lacoy of Andover; a son, Mark Lacoy of MA; three sisters, Jeanne Bouchard and her husband Albert of Dracut, Helen Beaulieu of Dracut and Carol Girouard of Lowell; two brothers, Raymond Lacoy and his wife Carolyn and Roger Lacoy and his wife Betty, all of LA: 4 granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his longtime companion, Florence Rocheleau od Dracut. He was the brother of the late Arthur Lacoy of LA.
