Obituary - Joseph P. Kane
Chelsea - Joseph P. Kane, 74, a Chelsea resident, formerly of Lowell, died Friday at the Chelsea Soldiers Home.
He was born in Lowell on October 23, 1929, a son of the late William and Mary Alice (Kelly) Kane.
Mr. Kane was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a retired self employed plumber. He was a former communicant of St. Michael Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Sarah "Sally" Furnari of Dracut, Mary Kane of Lowell; a sister in law Jeannette Kane of Lowell;a brother in law Roy Santorelli of Dracut; many nieces and nephews, including Gail Hubin of Lowell.
He was also the brother of the late Raymond, Edward, James, William and Francis Kane, Margaret Graham, Agnes Santorelli, and Gertrude Unteriner.
