Dracut - Joseph L. Cambray, a Dracut resident and beloved husband of Jeanne (DiFrancesco) Cambray passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lowell on February 10, 1940, he was a son of the late Adrian and Irene (Pelletier) Cambray. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Joe worked in industrial sales for ArcSource for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Michael Parish. A passionate golfer, Joe belonged to Four Oaks Country Club for many years. Growing up, Joe was a New York Giants fan, which continued throughout his life (much to the chagrin of many family members). He loved being around his family, eating, laughing and sharing memorable stories. Always relied upon for his quick wit and positivity, he made everyone feel better in his presence. His family meant everything to him, and he to them.
In addition to his wife Jeanne, with whom he would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this year, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Karen Cambray and John Piekos of Westford, and Jimmy and Jennifer Cambray of North Reading; three granddaughters, Karlee, Kathryn and Samantha Cambray; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Emily Cambray of York Beach, ME; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeannine and Chris Yianopoulos of Dracut, Debbie and Arthur Flanders of Derry NH, Theresa and Fred Gavlik of Dracut. He was also Uncle Joe, and a second father, to several nieces and nephews whom he adored
