John C. Urban

DRACUT - John C. Urban, 66, died at his Dracut home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lowell on June 27, 1951, he was a son of the late John J. and Anna (Picanso) Urban.
John was currently employed by UPS and Safecor Health. He also worked part time at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium for the Golden Gloves and at various events at the Tsongas Center.
He enjoyed rides to the beach and especially time spent in the Amish Country in PA.
John liked to watch Greater Lowell Technical High School football and the New England Patriots. He played in the over 30 baseball league at Hadley field in Lowell.
John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his best friend, Gladys L. (Lord) Urban; his sister, Joanne McKiel; his mother-in-law, Marilyn P. (Johnson) Lord; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. He was predeceased by his nephew, Michael Sylvester and by his father-in-law, David C. Lord.
