John P. Fortier

John P. Fortier a lifelong Lowell resident passed away on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston following a brief illness. He was 61.

Born in Lowell on October 9, 1959, a son of the late John T. And Mary J. (Scott) Fortier, he was raised and educated in Lowell. Earning his master's in "BSA"
John worked in the restaurant industry where he served as a cook. He also considered himself a "JACK" of all trades

He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, cooking for family and friends and playing his daily scratch tickets. He also loved his Boston sports teams. As well he enjoyed the outdoors and the beach. He loved life

Survivors include his four siblings and spouses, James Fortier and his girlfriend Deziree Roy of Lowell, Charlotte and Richard Ayotte of Raymond, NH, Ronald and Laura Fortier of Lowell, Donald and Kati Fortier of Lowell; several nieces, nephews cousins and friends, including his niece and last God daughter Olivia Fortier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Wednesday, November 18th from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.
