John T. Doyle

DRACUT - John Thomas Doyle, age 69, a longtime resident of Dracut died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Susan Marie (Abdinoor) Doyle, to whom he has been married for 47 years.

He was born in Lowell on June 1, 1952, and was a son of the late John A. and Juliette L. (Chouinard) Doyle. He received is education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from the Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston.

Prior to his retirement, John was employed for 28 years as a slitter operator at Hollingsworth and Vose of West Groton. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local 880 and a member of the Centralville Sportsman's Club in Dracut.

In his free time John enjoyed shooting trap, showing his Gordon Setters and Newfoundlands that he owned throughout the years, watching the History and Syfy Channels, and breakfast with the boys at The Yolk Grill in Pelham, NH. His greatest joy however, was spending time in the company of his loving family, especially his adoring grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his two daughters, Joelle S. Johnson and her husband Stephen of New Boston, NH and Amy Lynn Doyle and her domestic partner Robert Moore of Lowell; three grandchildren, Rory Johnson, Taylor Johnson, and Konnor Moore Doyle; a brother, Michael Doyle and his wife Kathleen of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late James Doyle and the late David Doyle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00pm. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:00am at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
