John Charles Caron, Jr.

d. December 28, 2024

North Andover

John Charles Caron Jr., cherished father and husband, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57. He was the devoted husband of Meghan (Fitzpatrick) Caron with whom his greatest joy was building their family.

He was the son of Marian Stanton and John Caron Sr. He was a graduate of Concord High in Concord, NH and a proud graduate of Syracuse University.

John took enormous pride in being a father of six children. Whether it was driving a carpool, cheering on his children from the sports’ sidelines, helping with the dreaded math homework or cooking up his favorite meals to feed his children and their many friends who passed through the house reminding them “don’t be bashful” when it came to second (or third) helpings of dinner. The only thing that came close to the joy of being with his children was the time spent on the Ferncroft golf course with his wife. The love of the game he imparted on Meghan became a passion that led them to the great city of Methuen, opening the doors to X-Golf Methuen which connected him to some of the most amazing people- both staff and guests alike.

John’s business acumen was respected and led to a fulfilling career in various arenas. He was well-respected by his colleagues and peers alike. He dedicated himself to his work at DMB Financial with integrity, inspiring those around him.

John’s love for enriching the lives of others extended far beyond what could be seen on the surface. He was dedicated to many philanthropic causes. He was proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Greg Hill Foundation where he supported so many beneficiaries. He was the first one to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

John is survived by his wife Meghan (Fitzpatrick) Caron and will be greatly missed by his children Samuel, Emily, Lily, Rileigh, Katie, Molly; his father John Caron Sr. and his wife Lisa; his mother Marian Stanton; his brothers Andrew Thomas Caron, Kirk Caron and his wife Guenola, Clayton Caron and his wife Caitlin; his sister, Lydia Caron; his mother and father-in-law, Brenda and James Fitzpatrick; his brothers-in law, Timothy Fitzpatrick and his wife Allison, Ryan Fitzpatrick and his wife Laura; sister-in-law, Kayleigh Whitney and her husband Robert.

John was a beloved uncle to Madelynn, Zachary, Gabriel, Jack, Callie, Olivia and James; a dear friend to Gregg Levin and countless others.

John’s Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, from 2 until 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell.
