Nashua, NH - Joe W. Sneed, 74, a resident of Nashua, NH, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was the husband of Margaret (Pickels) Sneed.
Born in Dayton, Tennessee on June 16, 1930, he was a son of the late Neal and Lela (Gravett) Sneed.
Mr. Sneed served with the United States Army during the Korean War.
He had been employed by Tony's Gas Station of Dracut as a gas station attendant for over 30 years. He was a member of Le Chanteclerc Club of Dracut.
Besides his wife he is survived by five grandchildren, T.J. Paladino and his wife Melissa of Nashua, NH, Steven Dickey Jr. of Hudson, NH, Joseph Lawrence and his wife Naneth of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jennifer Ladue and her husband Scott of Merrimack, NH and Jason Lawrence of Manchester, NH; three great grandchildren, Dominick Paladino of Nashua, NH, Alexa and Max Ladue of Merrimack, NH; two step-daughters, Darlene Lawrence and her husband Joseph of Merrimack, NH and Dianne Paladino of Hudson, NH; eight sisters, Margie DisJardin of Michigan, Julie Greenhalgh of Dracut, Charlene Snyder, Patsy Dillard, Glenda McFarland, Wanda Dillard, Rosie Sneed and Gail Sneed, all of Tennessee; six brothers, Lee Sneed, Edward Sneed, Donald Sneed, Daniel Sneed, Leon Sneed and Larry Sneed, all of Tennessee; a son, Arthur Sneed of Lowell; a daughter, Maryann Sneed of N.H.; also many nieces and nephews. He also leaves a dear friend, Bill Harmon of Nashua, NH. He was the brother of the late Ruby Suttles and Patricia Rudd.
