Joanne M. "IO" Ouellette

DRACUT - Joanne M. "IO" Ouellette, 60, a longtime resident of Dracut died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at her home following a brief illness.

She was born in Lowell on October 6, 1957, and was a daughter of the late Donald H. Ouellette, Sr. and the late Claire M. (Cutress) Ouellette. She was a graduate of Pelham High School.

IO earned her associate degree in business from Hesser College.

She was employed for many years as a customer service representative by MetLife Insurance.

IO loved to play cards, especially Rummy and she loved Boston sports, especially the Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins.

She is survived by her sister, Judith A. Ouellette of Dracut; her niece, April Ouellette of Dracut; her nephew, Donald J. Ouellette and his fiancé Kerri Clegg of Lowell; her little buddies, Tyler, Devon, and Kylie; her cousin Michelle Stanton and her husband John of Dracut; and her special friends, MaryEllen and Mark Bednarski of RI, Abby Nales of Lowell, and Lisa Monette of Dracut. She was also the sister of the late Donald H. Ouellette, Jr..
