Joanne M. (Gwiazda) (Holt) Guimond

Joanne Marie (Gwiazda) (Holt) Guimond, the beloved wife of Roland A. Guimond, a resident of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Tuesday September 24, 2013. She was 75.
Joanne was born in Lowell on May 27, 1938, a daughter of the late Julian and Sophie (Douyet) Gwiazda.
Joanne attended St. Stanislaus School and graduated from Lowell High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed for more than 20 years at the former Lowell and Colonial Gas Company. Joanne was a communicant of Holy Trinity Polish Church.
Joanne loved traveling with her husband Roland. She was fond of baking and cooking, especially Polish dishes. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Elvis and singing. Most of all Joanne cherished the time spent laughing with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Surviving her besides her husband of 32 years are her daughter, Sharon Chappelear and her husband Mark of Roswell, GA; a son Brian Holt and his wife Cindy of Londonderry, NH; three step daughters, Angela Ducharme of Hampstead, NH, Pamela Murphy and her husband Charles of Haverhill, MA , Marcy Ferrara of Bedford, NH; three grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon and Summer; seven step grandchildren, Jillian, Christy, Elizabeth, Scott, Katelynn, Brittany and Alexis; two step great grandchildren, Mia and Chrissa; two brothers, David Gwiazda and his wife Kathy of Lowell, MA and Michael Gwiazda of Woburn; an aunt Rose Gwiazda of Lowell, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
