Joanne L. (Poisson) Grenier, Beloved wife of the late Gerard J. Grenier, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 89.

Born in Lowell on October 26, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Gabrielle (Brodeur) Poisson.

Joanne was a seamstress throughout her life. She had worked in the textile mills and had also helped many people from her home. She loved sewing and was proud of everything she made. Joanne adored her grandchildren and looked forward to spending time with them. She would make pajama's and quilts for them each Christmas. Joanne was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church. She had a deep affection and friendship with her dog Benji.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Suzanne and Normand Noel of Dracut, Gerard Grenier, Jr., of Hudson, NH, Donald Sr., and Sandra Grenier of Chelmsford, Annette Novia of Worcester, Elaine and David Peloquin of Townsend, Ann Marie and Angel Rosado of Hudson, NH; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Poisson of Tyngsboro, Paul Poisson of Nashua, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Louise Delorge, sister of the late Pauline Russo, and mother in law of the late Robert Novia, Jr..

Relatives and friends are invited to Joanne's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 4 until 7 PM on Tuesday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Ste. Marguerite Church, 1340 Lakeview Ave. Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's memory may be made to the D'Youville Foundation, 981 Varnum Ave. Lowell, MA 01854.
