Joan E. Gray

LOWELL - Joan E. (Lamphier) Gray, 75, a Lowell resident, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at Saints Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Gray.
Born in Lowell on February 21, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Irene B. (Allen) Lamphier.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Gray was employed by Comet Plastics of Chelmsford.
She was a member of the Centralville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sisters and their spouses, Fay Baillargeon of Methuen, Florence and Gerard Dube and and Nancy and Andy Netzer, all of Lowell; five brothers and their spouses, Edward and Gloria Lamphier of Andover, Richard and Rose Lamphier of Newport Richie, FL, Clarence and Carol Lamphier, Jr. of Daytona, FL, Gerald and Sheila Lamphier of St. Cloud, FL, Wayne and Laurie Lamphier of Kingston, NH and John Lamphier of Littleton, NH; a brother-in-law, James Carroll of CA; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Ruth Carroll and sister-in-law of the late Muriel Lamphier and Henry Baillargeon.
