Jesus Medina, a Lowell resident and the beloved husband of Mercedes (Lopez deVictoria) Medina died on Sunday March 3, 2013 with his family by his side. He was 66.
Jesus was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on December 17, 1946, a son of the late Ramon and Antonia (Cruz) Medina.
Prior to his illness Jesus worked as a machine operator for Ideal Tape.
He took pleasure in attending the Iglesia Pentecostal La Luz Del Mundo Church. In his spare time Jesus enjoyed repairing cars, watching television, listening to music and reading the bible.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son, Geraldo Medina of Lowell; two daughters, Elizabeth Medina, Yvette Milagros Aviles both of Florida; two grandchildren, Michael Rivera, and Joanne Boone; sisters and brothers, Evelyn Medina, Esteban Medina both of Puerto Rico, Vigdalia Medina of Lowell, William Medina of Lawrence, Carlos Medina of Lowell, Marisol Medina of Puerto Rico; and several nieces and nephews.
