Lowell - Jefferson M. "Jeff" Silva, 19, a resident of Lowell, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Boston Children's Hospital following a long courageous battle with Leukemia.
He was born in Brazil on November 18, 1997, and was a son of Rosangela (Madureira) Silva and the stepson of Vinicius Coelho of Lowell. Jeff attended Lowell High School.
His greatest joy came from spending time in the company of his family and friends. He was a video game fanatic and loved to watch and play basketball. He also loved dogs.
Jeff had a passion for the theater and dreamed of one day becoming an actor.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, Jeff is survived by his brothers and best friends, Bryan, Vinicius, and Isaac Silva, all of Lowell and his maternal grandmother, Suely Madureira of Brazil. He was also the grandson of the late Wilson Madureira.
