Jeannine M. Lyle

LOWELL - Jeannine M. (Gervais) Lyle, R.N., 76, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Tuesday evening, July 21, 2009 in a local nursing home. She was the wife of Charles A. Lyle with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on April 10, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Oscar J. and Julia M. (Pigeon) Gervais.
She was a graduate of St. Louis Parochial School, St. Louis Academy and St. Joseph's School of Nursing.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Lyle was employed as a Registered Nurse for the City of Lowell Health Department working in the Clinic and School System. She was a member of the Retired Municipal Workers Union. She was a communicant of St. Rita Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Peter C. Lyle, a Captain with the US Navy and his wife Patricia (Doyle) Lyle of Springfield, VA and Stephen M. Lyle of Lowell; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Peavey and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, VA and Patricia Anne Gotham and her husband Jerry of Lowell; three grandsons, twin grandsons, Robert and Michael Peavey of Virginia Beach, VA and Collin Lyle of Springfield, VA ; a cousin, Joyce Smith of Medford; several nieces and nephews.
