Jeannine Lavallee a lifelong Lowell resident passed away on August 19, 2021 at the Lowell General Hospital following a period of declining heath. She was 92.
Born in Lowell on December 24, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Philippe and Amanda (Deschenes) Lavallee.
Jeannine worked as a bookbinder for Courier Citizen for many years. Her Family recalls her as one of the kindest people. Jeannine was very generous with her family and she always cared for others. She left her job at Courier to care for her ailing mother. Jeannine also took care of her brothers whom she referred to as "The Boys".
She was an active communicant of the former St. Louis de France Parish. She looked forward to helping and attending the many events held there throughout the year.
Jeannine is pre deceased by ten of her siblings. Her survivors include her sister Fleurette Moustafa of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeannine's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home 327 Hildreth Street, on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery
