Jeannine Theresa (Morin) Dunn, 87, passed away peacefully at her Dracut residence on January 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with cancer.
She was the beloved wife of John E. Dunn to whom she was married for 65 years.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Marie (Ouellette) Morin of Lowell, MA and attended St. Joseph School, Lowell.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by CVS for more than 35 years, most recently as a Pharmacy Technician.
She was an active member and past-President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians - Division I, Lowell since 1986 and an active member of Cercle Jeanne Mance of Lowell. Deeply devoted to her faith, she was a communicant of St. Francis Parish in Dracut since 1964.
She enjoyed many friends, including her weekly Mahjong and Domino groups. She will forever be remembered as gentle yet strong, compassionate, fun-loving and a special person who made friends with everyone she met. She showed us how full and rich life can be.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Elaine Ouellette and her husband Ralph of Tyngsboro, Karen Kane and her husband Jerry of Lyman, ME, Steven Dunn and his wife, Kerrie (O'Keefe) of Lowell; her 12 grandchildren, Lyndsey (George) Haight, Christen (Chris) DeMont, Heather (Anna Guest) and Lauren Ouellette, Ryan, Shaymus, Ronan and Shannon Dunn, Jordyn, Zachary and Jacob Hoar, Nicholas (Kelly) Kane; her 8 great-grandchildren, Dillon, Kayla and Adam Parent, George and Cooper Haight, Zoie Vizcarrondo-Petros, Alyssa and Samantha Kane; her 2 great-great grandchildren, Lincoln and Nolan Parent; two sisters, Lorraine (Robert) Baroni of Billerica and Muriel (Tom) Maher of Dracut, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne Dunn and her sisters, Dorothy (Donald) Dalphond and Pauline (Raymond) Ralls.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeannine's Life Celebration on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4 until 8 PM or Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 10 until 11:15 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Francis Church, Dracut. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
