Dracut - Jeannette Z. (Michaud) Roussel, 98, widow of Armand M. Roussel, a Dracut resident, died Friday January 13, 2006, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Salem on July 5, 1907, a daughter of the late Albert J. and Elmina (Menard) Michaud.
Mrs. Roussel graduated from Lowell High School and the Lowell Technical School of Accounting. Mrs. Roussel had been employed as the head bookkeeper for Scott Jewelry in Lowell, and was the co owner of Roussel Marine in Dracut.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, and an honorary member of the Dracut Senior Citizen's Club.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, David A. and Leona (Poisson) Roussel of Dracut; a daughter Judith R. Willis of Falmouth; four grandchildren Clayton Willis of FL, Andre Willis of Marstons Mills, Michael Roussel of Rutland, VT and Cort Roussel of Bethlehem, NH; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Willis of Falmouth, Amanda Willis of Marstons Mills, Austin Roussel and Dylan Roussel of Rutland, VT; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mariette Thibodeau, Maynard Michaud, and Louis Michaud.
