Lowell - Jeannette M. Pepin, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Thursday July 15, 2010 at the Saints Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 96.
Jeannette was born in Lowell on July 19, 1913, a daughter of the late Antonin and Elise (Belanger) Pepin.
Jeannette was a graduate of St. Louis Academy, and was a lifelong communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church. She also held membership in the St. Louis Guild there.
Currently Jeannette attended Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
She was employed as a secretary for the Canada Dry Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1976.
Aunt Jeannette was an avid Boston Red Sox fan who never missed a game on television.
She was a friend to all who knew her. She loved her family and also loved her church.
Her family and friends will miss her terribly.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Ruth (Martin) Dubuc and her husband Arthur, Conrad Pepin, David Shea and his wife Iris (Gauvreau), all of Lowell, Suzanne Pepin of Tyngsboro, Carol (Rollo) Martin of Dracut; eleven grand nieces and grand nephews; nineteen great grand nieces and great grand nephews; two dear and close friends, Denise Matte and Bea Daigle.
She was the sister and sister in law of the late Ruth and Rudy Tessier, Van and George Martin, Doris and J. Edward Shea, Maurice Pepin, Yvonne Pepin, Arthur and Marie Rose Pepin. Aunt of the late Robert Martin and Great grand aunt of the late Matty Dubuc.
She will celebrate her 97th birthday in Heaven with her family. God Bless you Auntie, until we meet again.
