Jeannette G. Painchaud, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the D'Youville Senior Care following a period of declining health. She was 94.
Born in Lowell she was the last surviving child of Omer and Bernadette (Vincent) Painchaud.
Jeannette was educated in Lowell and worked for many years as a machinist and stitcher for the former Lowell Lingerie.
She was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church and currently Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
Jeannette was a member of the Centralville Senior Citizen Club. Family was paramount to Jeannette, and she cherished all of the time spent with her many nieces and nephews.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was the sister of the late Bernard Painchaud, who died in the line of duty during WWII, Cecile Painchaud, Alice Alarie, Laura Champagne, Lucienne Lalime, and Laurette Boissonneault.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeannette's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM in Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave. Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
