Jeannette (Vezina) Montminy, a Lowell resident and beloved wife of the late Octave "Stubby" Montminy, died on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at a local nursing facility. She was 99.
Born in Lowell on October 12, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Omer and Rose (Begin) Vezina.
Prior to her retirement Jeannette worked at the former Robert Leonard Dress Shop and Explorer Tours and Travel.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, especially Pokeno and any other game she thought she could win. Jeannette also looked forward to walking the grounds where she lived.
Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Emile and Rachel Montminy of Harpswell, ME, Theresa and David Marshall of Jaffrey, NH, Paul and Annette Montminy of Scottville, MI; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Blanche Archambault of Lowell, Pauline Desrochers of Lowell, Doris Latulippe of Easthampton; one brother Maurice Vezina of Lowell; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late Roland Vezina, Alice Milot and Lillian Koziol.
