LOWELL – Jeannette M. "Jan" (Langlais) Keyes, 91, of Lowell, formerly of the Highlands section, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Keyes.
Born in Lowell on March 3, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Henri J. and Yvonne (Chenard) Langlais.
In her younger years, Mrs. Keyes had worked as a mill girl for various Lowell Mills. She had also worked as a waitress at the Fleur de Lis Club of Tyngsboro. She and her husband were also the owners of Keyes Fire Equipment of Lowell.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret Church in Lowell.
In her pastime Mrs. Keyes enjoyed to sew and was a wonderful seamstress.
She leaves her brother, Robert H. Langlais and his wife Pearl of Pelham, NH; her sister, Lorraine Latulippe and her husband Lucien of Lowell; her brother in law, Theodore Vecchione of Lowell; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews among who is a special niece, Susan Lepine of Dracut. She was a sister of the late Therese Vecchione.
