DRACUT – Jeannette T. (Beaudry)( Lanois) (Burke) Elie, beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Elie of Dracut, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer, Massachusetts.
Born on January 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Germaine (Auger) and William Beaudry.
Prior to her retirement, Jeannette worked at Lowell General Hospital as a nurse’s aide for many years and retired from Wang where she worked as a cable and harness technician. After her retirement, she volunteered at the Dracut Middle School as part of the Grandmother Program.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her large family.
Surviving Jeannette are three sons, John Burke and his wife Pat of Charlotte, NC; Paul Burke of Wolfeboro, NH; James Elie of Lowell; three daughters, Patricia (Elie) Regan and her husband Gary of Pelham, NH, Barbara (Elie) McLaughlin of Ayer, MA and Annette (Elie) Rainville of California. She also leaves behind three sisters-in-law, Mary Elie of Lowell, Yvette Beaudry of Dracut and Jeannette Elie of Lowell; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
