Jeannette (Lessard) Dubois, age 85, a lifelong resident of the Centralville section of Lowell passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008 following a brief illness.
She was married to the late Ernest J. Dubois who died in 1988.
Born in Lowell on October 2, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Delphine (Beaumont) Lessard.
Jeannette attended St. Louis Academy, and was employed as a stitcher at Hub Hosiery and the Hathaway Company for many years. She was a manager, as well as an accomplished cake decorator, at several of the Yum Yum Shops in the Lowell area for over 20 years.
She is survived by her five children, Barbara Beaulieu and her husband Raymond of Nashua, NH, Richard Dubois and his wife Karen Herbaugh of Dracut, Dee Giffin of Dracut, Gail Bates and her husband Martin of Salem, NH and David Dubois and his wife Christine of Derry, NH. The devoted grandmother of ten and the beloved great grandmother of four, she is also survived by three sisters and two brothers in law, Alice Butler of Lowell, Teri and Marc Hall of Nashua, NH, Lorraine and John Daniels of NH. She was the mother in law of the late Robert Giffin. Jeannette will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
