Obituary
LOWELL - Jeanne D'Arc (Baron) Provencher, a Lowell resident, wife of the late Ralph J. Provencher, died unexpectedly Monday evening, March 5, 2007 at Saints Medical Center.
Born in Sherbrooke, P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Philomene (Cyr) Baron.
A seamstress by trade, Mrs. Provencher had been employed by United Dress, Jay Dress and Hub Hosiery.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church and a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Provencher was an avid Bingo player and was a Bingo caller at the Lord Manor where she resided. She was well loved by her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda D. Paquette and her husband David and Donna J. Provencher, all of Lowell; a son, Ralph R. "Sonny" Provencher and his wife Gloria of Milford; seven grandchildren, Marleen Geoffroy and her husband Joe of NH, Cherie Fitton and her husband Robert of Lowell, David Paquette Jr. of Lawrence, Daniel Provencher and his wife Anita of Holden, Kevin Provencher, Derek Provencher and Nicole Provencher, all of Worcester; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Debbie Provencher of Whitinsville; two sisters-in-law, Susan Baron and Beverly Baron, both of FL; a dear friend, Paul Paquette of Lowell. She was the mother of the late Robert D. Provencher and sister of the late Rene and Donald Baron.
