Jeanne M. Patenaude

DRACUT - Jeanne M. (Maher) Patenaude, age 70, a resident of Dracut died Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell.

She was born in Lowell on August 27, 1951, and was a daughter of the late Victor and Gertrude (Larrivee) Maher. She was a graduate of St. Louis Academy in Lowell, where she also attended grammar school. Following graduation she attended Fitchburg State College.

Prior to her retirement, Jeanne was employed by Genesis in Andover. Earlier in her career she worked at the Dracut Town Hall.

In her free time she enjoyed camping, watching the Boston Red Sox, and hanging out with her beloved cats, Patches and Snoop. However, her greatest joy was spending time in the company of her loving family.

She is survived by a sister, Maureen Maslanka of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Paul A. Maher, Sr. and Denise Grady and the sister-in-law of the late Stanley Maslanka.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jeanne's Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29th at 10:00am St. Marguerite D'Youville Church, 1340 Lakeview Ave. in Dracut. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne's memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-7023 or at diabetes.org.
