Dracut

Jeanne A. (Larose) Berube, wife of the late Thomas H. Berube, Sr., passed away on October 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Dracut. 

She was born on May 21, 1932, to the late Henry and Bella (Daigle) Larose and was a resident of Dracut for 84 years.

She was a graduate of St. Louis Grammar School and St. Louis Academy in Lowell, MA. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Church until its closing and then St. Patrick’s Church, Pelham, NH, thereafter.

 She worked in the insurance industry, including Byam Brothers and Appleby & Wyman Insurance companies, until her retirement at age 70.

She was a devoted and selfless mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 

 She is survived by a son Thomas H. Berube, Jr., and his wife Renu Bhardwaj of Acton, MA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and James McHale and Laureen and Thomas Belleville, all of Pelham, NH; five grandchildren: Jenna (Steven) Bowen, Alyson (Mary) Belleville, Michael (Kelsie) McHale, Ryan Belleville (Robin Levinson), and Aryan Berube; and five great grandchildren: Madelyn Jeanne McHale, Carter James Bowen, Vienna Jeanne Belleville, Bennett Steven Bowen, and Ryden Willis Belleville; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

 Relatives and friends are invited to Jeanne's Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Wednesday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, 12 Main Street, Pelham, NH. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations in Jeanne's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
