LOWELL - Jean M. (Wieczorek) Temple, 91, a Lowell resident, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at her home. She was the beloved wife the late Walter W. Temple.
Born in New London, CT, on June 12, 1918, she was a daughter of the late William and Viola (Zisk) Wieczorek.
Mrs. Temple enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She was also a big fan of golfers Lee Trevino and Tiger Woods.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was willing to participate in any type of card game that was being played. She made many trips with her family and friends to the Foxwood's Casino.
She is survived by four daughters and four sons-in-law, Shirley G. and William J. Hoare III of Salisbury, formerly of Dunstable, Theresa A. and Francis L. Clark of Lowell, Jean M. and Michael R. DePalma of Hudson, NH and Sandra L. and Wilbur R. Billington of NY; a sister, Frances Mather of Gales Ferry, CT; a sister-in-law, Marion Haverman of Sacramento, CA; 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her close friends and neighbors at the Mazur Apartments. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Lawrence, Frank, Paul, Stephen and Bo Wieczorek, Helen Aneed, Julia Jessick and Sophie Golia. She was the grandmother of the late Deborah Hoare.
