Janet R. (Elie) Lamoureux

June 22, 1919 — April 11, 2017

Janet R. (Elie) Lamoureux, beloved wife of the late Paul V. Lamoureux, and lifelong resident of Lowell passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, following a period of declining health. She was 97.

Born in Lowell on June 22, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Mabel F. (Mooney) Elie.

Janet was a graduate of Lowell High School and Lowell Commercial College. She worked for the former Merrimack News and retired from the former A.H. Notini & Sons, where she worked as a clerk.

Janet was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Parish, and currently a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Jacqueline and Robert Clermont; a granddaughter, Kathleen Karp and her husband Evan; a great granddaughter Ella Karp; and several nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her sister Alice Droll.

Janet's family would like to thank her caretakers at Willow Manor for the care and compassion shown to her during her stay.
