Jane A. (Higgins) Linscott

Jane A. (Higgins) Linscott, RN, a Lowell resident, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, at a local health care facility. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank H. Linscott, Jr.
Born in Lowell on July 29, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Henrietta (Stafford) Higgins.
Jane was a graduate of Lowell High School and the St. Joseph Nursing Program.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse for the City of Lowell working as a school nurse. She also worked for over 25 years for local nursing homes.
Mrs. Linscott was a long time resident of South Lowell where she was an active member of the former Sacred Heart Parish. She was currently a communicant of St. William Church in Tewksbury.
Along with her husband Frank and children, she enjoyed many summers at Cobbett's Pond in Windham, NH.
She is survived by three children, Maryjane Linscott and Fred Borghesi of Falmouth, Mark F. Linscott of Lowell and Carol Ann Poulin and her husband Dean of Westford; five grandchildren, Amy Linscott and Brad Skillman, Mark F. Linscott, II, Shannon Says and her fiancé Derek Jones, Christopher Linscott and Dean Poulin; two great grandchildren, Ava and Emma Skillman; her daughter-in-law, Maura Linscott of Lowell; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Marie Linscott of Somerville; dear friends, Dottie Lambert of Hudson, NH, Marlene Johnston of FL and Alice McGann of Andover. She was the mother of the late Patrick M. Linscott, and sister of the late Patricia, Brendan and Leo Higgins, Irene Lafferty and Helen Mahoney.
