Jane Kernan (Kijanka) Gordon

MESA,AZ - Jane Kernan (Kijanka) Gordon, 63, of Mesa, AZ died suddenly Monday April 22, 2024 at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ.

Born January 26, 1961,,  in Lowell, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Walter S. and Julia (Kernan) Kijanka. She was raised in Lowell and was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro and Rivier University in Nashua, NH. Jane worked for many years in the accounting departments of several businesses, in a variety of industries including early in her career at the family business, Forster Lumber Corp., Methuen and Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell.

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by her four sisters, Jo Ann Kerwin, Mary Kijanka and her husband Dean Cleghorn, Katherine Gendron and her husband Stephen, and Susan Chapman and her husband Brian. She was predeceased by her sister Julia A. Kijanka and her brother W. Stephen Kijanka. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Kathleen (Pentland) Kijanka and many nieces, nephews and their families.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday morning, May 10, 2024, 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell, 220 Worthen Street, Lowell, MA 01852, or the charity of one’s choice.
