Jane E. Cullen-McOsker, 62, a resident of Nashua, NH, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Frederick J. McOsker, with whom she would have celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on October 16, 2015.
Born in Newton on April 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Albert H. Cullen and Joyce (Munsey) Cullen of Nashua, NH who survives her.
Jane was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and received her Master's Degree from Fitchburg State College.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a teacher for the Lowell Public School System. A teacher for over 30 years, she taught at several different schools. Most recently, she was at the Bailey School where she taught 4th grade, pre-kindergarten and special education. She was a member of the Retired Massachusetts Teacher's Association.
Jane enjoyed gardening and reading, but especially cherished summers spent with her family in Round Pond, Maine.
In addition to her husband and mother she leaves a brother, Michael Cullen and his wife Janet of Nashua, NH; three step-children, Allyson McOsker of Chelmsford, Matthew McOsker and his wife Elizabeth of Glastonbury, CT and Kerry McOsker of Somerville; several nieces and nephews, among whom are Paul Cullen and his wife Aimee Christian of Muespach, France and David Cullen and his wife Julie of Burlington; several great nieces and nephews among whom are Seth, Fiona, Thomas and Shane Cullen; her mother-in-law, Mary McOsker of Lowell; her late father-in-law, Frederick L. McOsker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joanne and Thomas Duggan of Chelmsford, Brenda Dupras of Lowell, Thomas and Cynthia McOsker of So. Portland, ME and Martha and Jeffrey Dean of Northbridge.
