James A. Sheehan

James A. Sheehan, 89, beloved father died on Thursday, June 10, 2010.
He was a resident of Lowell, MA and a life long member of St. Michael's Parish, graduating from St. Michael's School in 1934. He then graduated from Lowell High School in 1938. During the war he served with the US Army Air Force. After the war he became a plumber and worked for James E Curry Plumbing Contractor. He joined the Lowell Fire Department in 1952 and retired in 1985, from Engine 10. He was a member of the Retired Fire Fighters Association until his death.
In 2004, he was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Marguerite (McGarr) Sheehan. He is survived by son Thomas Sheehan of Lunenburg, MA; daughters Susan E. Sheehan of Lowell, MA; Mary E. Pearson and her husband James of Chelmsford, MA; Katherine A. Sheehan and her husband Brian Harney of Nashua, NH; Karen A. Creegan and her husband Robert of Westford, MA; son John F, Sheehan and wife Donna of Milford, NH; daughter Carolyn J. Caron and husband Donald of Windham, NH; sister Loretta Nalezinski and her husband Rudolph of Lowell, MA; brother in law Thomas McGarr of Westport, MA; 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
