James E. Morin

DRACUT - James Edward "Jim" Morin, 66, a lifelong Dracut resident, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lowell on February 15, 1943, he was a son of the late Germain J. and Lillian E. (Cregg) Morin.
Mr. Morin graduated from the Lowell Trade School, Class of 1960.
Prior to his retirement, he was a self employed finish carpenter. In earlier years Jim enjoyed spending time at the Stonybrook Sportsman Club in Westford.
He was a communicant and lifetime member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.
He is survived by three sons and their wives, Barry J. and Karen (Poore) Morin of Dracut, Kevin J. and Sharon (Brisbois) Morin of Dracut and Jeffrey R. and Darlene (Olivar) Morin of Methuen; four grandchildren, Michael J., Nicole E., Hunter J. and Jeremy R. Morin; two brothers, Bishop Roger P. Morin, Bishop of Biloxi, MS and Paul E. Morin of Dracut; three sisters, Lillian E. "Pat" Johnson of Dracut, Elaine C. and Raymond Joncas of Nashua, NH and Susan A. Spellisy of Dracut; also several nieces and nephews. He was the beloved companion of the late Nancy Brousseau.
