DRACUT – Jacqueline Ann (Hanson) Boisvert, 78, a longtime Dracut resident for more than 50 years, passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at D'Youville Senior Care with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Roland J. Boisvert with whom she shared over 53 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on August 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late James and Esther (Johnson) Hanson. She was a graduate of Lowell High School.
In addition to her husband she leaves 3 sons and a daughter, Joseph J. Boisvert of Salem, NH, Robert Boisvert and his companion Maura Egan of Ashburnham, James Boisvert and his fiancé Nicole Mercier of Pepperell and Deborah (Boisvert) Demers and her husband Roger of Dracut; 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Reubin of York, ME and Howard Decateur of Nashua, NH. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
Jacqueline loved to spend time at the beach, trips to Foxwoods Casino and enjoyed playing bingo. She was also an avid Patriots fan.
She was always there for her family, during highlights of life and trying times of life.
She loved her family deeply and was known as the family matriarch.
