J. Arthur Morin

Manchester, NH - J. Arthur Morin, beloved husband of Sandra L. (Tabor) Morin, with whom he would have celebrated 30 years of marriage in April 2009, died Friday December 5, 2008 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was 80.
He was born in New Bedford on April 14, 1928 a son of the late Joseph and Rose Alma (Duhamel) Morin. Arthur had lived in Lowell and Dracut prior to moving to Manchester, NH 29 years ago.
Arthur was a WWII Veteran, having served in the army.
He had worked for many years in the shipping and receiving department at the former Educator Biscuit in Lowell.
He enjoyed his family, gardening, sailing, fishing and traveling, especially the cross country trips he took with his brother Paul, and restoring old jeeps.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son and daughter in law, Dennis and Suzanne Morin of Groton; a stepson Brian Barnes of Pembroke, ME; a brother Paul Morin of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Kerrie Morin, Kristin Ruston, Amy Barnes, Jerika Barnes; and four great grandchildren.
