DRACUT - Isabelle M. (Lepene) Hall, age 89, a longtime resident of Dracut died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis P. Hall, who died in 2000.
She was born in Lowell on October 14, 1928, and was a daughter of the late Erastus Lepene and the late Loretta (Messier) (Lepene) Flynn. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1946.
Prior to her retirement, Isabelle was employed for many years in the credit office at the former Jordan Marsh. She also taught sewing at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsboro. Following her retirement, she spent countless hours volunteering her time at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell Memorial Auditorium, and D'Youville Senior Care.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro and was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens Club.
Isabelle was a talented seamstress and an avid reader. She also enjoyed doing crafts, painting, camping, and traveling. However, her greatest joy was spending time in the company of her loving family.
She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Kiloski of Tyngsboro, her six sons, Michael Hall and his wife Susan of Montpelier, VT, Brother Roger Hall, OFM of CT, James Hall and his wife Lynne of Nashua, NH, Joseph Hall and his wife Carmen of Willington, CT, Brian Hall and his wife Donna of Lowell, and Stephen Hall and his wife Diana of Nashua, NH; ten grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her dear friend, Nancy Guilbeault of Tyngsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Paul Lepene, Jeannette Hamel, and Rita Wells.
ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Isabelle's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Her Committal Service will he held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Isabelle's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of MA, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
