Irene M. (Sousa) Tremblay, 83, a former resident of Lowell and Hudson NH, died peacefully on Friday February 27 in Hudson NH .
Born in Lowell on September 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Silva) Sousa.
Irene was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Tremblay.
Irene worked as a secretary for many years Bard in Billerica.
Irene was an active volunteer for several charities, including the Hudson, NH Senior Center. She also volunteered her time at St. Kathryn Church in Hudson, NH and was a member of the prayer group at Rivier College.
Irene is survived by her sister-in-law Helen Sousa of Tewksbury MA and her brother Eddie Sousa of Lowell, as well as several nieces and nephews.
