Irene Y.(Sylvain) Nicolls

Irene Y. (Sylvain) Nicolls, a resident of Dracut, died on Saturday morning, November 14, 2015 at a local health care facility. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry E. Nicolls.
Born in Lowell on February 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Miralda (Bernier) Sylvain.
Prior to her retirement, Irene was employed by Chantilly Place of Lowell as a dress fitting consultant and model.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Stephen P. and Orea Nicolls of Litchfield, NH and Donald F. and Karen Nicolls of Pelham, NH; two daughters and their husbands, Kathleen M. and Michael Mercier of Rindge, NH and Susan M. and James E. Gaudette of Plymouth, MA; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Nicolls of Dracut; a brother and his wife, Roland and Connie Sylvain of NH also 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews among whom is Robert Gale and his wife Diane of Las Vegas, NV. She was the mother of the late Ronald C. Nicolls
