Dracut, - Irene R. (Lorrain) Harvey, 75, wife of Joseph L. Harvey died Thursday, February 24 after an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on January 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Yvonne (Aubrey) Lorrain. She was a graduate of St. Louis Academy and was a member of the High School's Alumnae.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a clerk in the Town of Dracut's Treasurer's Office. She had previously worked for the Lowell Welfare Office and was a bookkeeper for Louis Bailly Pharmacy and Frances Farris Memorial Hospital. She was a communicant of Ste Therese Church.
Surviving her besides her husband of 51 years are a son and daughter-in-law, Richard J. and Paulette Harvey and a daughter, Susan Neary all of Hudson, NH; a sister, Ruth Vandette and her husband Gerard of Tewksbury; two grandchildren, Eric Harvey of Fall River and Elizabeth Neary of Washington, DC; a sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Blanche and John Krapian of Nashua and Raymond Hall of Hebron, CT and several nieces and nephews.
