Irene G. Geoffrion

Tucson, AZ - Irene G. (Mercier) Geoffrion, 99, a resident of Tucson since 2000, died Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Tucson Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was the wife of the late Louis F. Geoffrion who died in 1995.
Born in Lowell, on June 8, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Malvina (Gaudette) Mercier.
Prior to moving to Arizona in 2000, Mrs. Geoffrion had been a resident of Arlington, MA since 1941 and had been a communicant of St. James Church in Arlington.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Louis P. and Janice Geoffrion of Manchester by the Sea, MA, Paul E. and Barbara Geoffrion of Reading, MA and Charles A. and Moira Geoffrion of Tucson, AZ; a brother and his wife, Eugene and Bertha Mercier of Dracut, MA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Beatrice, Raymond and Albert Mercier.
