Lowell - Irene E. (Chalifoux) Fuller, 91, widow of Harold P. Fuller, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Tuesday April 11, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Berlin, NH, on July 29, 1914, a daughter of the late John B. and Louise (Baker) Chalifoux.
In earlier years Mrs. Fuller worked in the housekeeping department at the former St. John's Hospital.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and a former member of the choir there. Irene was an avid bingo player, playing at St. Michael Parish. Her family commented how she was always smiling and was a great cook.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Harold P. Fuller, Jr. of Lowell, John J. and Regina Fuller of Lowell, Brent and Ida Fuller of Cypress, CA; three daughters and a son in law, Eleanor and James Shirton of Methuen, Clare Dowling of Lowell, Brenda Makiej of Lowell; two sisters Beulah Strombeck of Lowell, Clare Chalifoux of Lowell; ten grandchildren, John Jr., Scott and William Fuller, Russell, David and Craig Makiej, Cheryl McCarthy, Tami Mailloux, Brenda Torres and James Shirton; 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
