Irene G. (Labrecque) Fox, 68, a longtime Lowell resident died Wednesday October 31, 2012 at the Wingate at Belvidere Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on May 22, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Edgar E. and Agnes (Gilbert) Labrecque. Irene was a faith filled woman with a strong belief in God. Her family was the most important part of her life. Irene thoroughly enjoyed listening to country music.
Survivors include a son, Lee Fox and his wife, Kelly of Lowell; two daughters, Lisa DeLuca and her husband, Dave of Lowell, Rhonda Horgan and her husband, Paul of Nashua, NH; daughter-in-law Tina McCarthy, wife of Irene's late son Timothy McCarthy who passed away on June 10, 2010, and her children John Constantine and Susan Constantine; six grandchildren, Sara DeLuca, Jesse DeLuca, Jazmine Horgan, Tyra Horgan, Mia Horgan and Brady Fox; two brothers, Andy Labrecque and Paul Labrecque both of Lowell; her dearest friend, Theresa Dufault of Dracut.
Irene's family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Wingate at Belvidere for the kindness and care shown to their mother during her stay there.
