OBITUARY
LOWELL - Ida A. (Wright) Desrosiers, a resident of Market Street in Lowell for over 30 years, died Friday evening, July 21, 2006 in a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Wilfrid G. Desrosiers.
Born in Lowell on February 7, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Della (Harvey) Wright.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Desrosiers worked as a self-employed dress maker.
An accomplished singer, she was a member of Rudolph Pepin's Choir at the former St. Jean Baptiste Church and also enjoyed singing as a soloist at various nightclubs in the area.
She had been a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Parish and had belonged to the Parish St. Anne Sodality. She was also a member of the Lowell Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by a son, Dennis P. Desrosiers of Cape Cod; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Sal Ledoux, Dick and Harvey Wright.
