Herve J. Loiselle

December 4, 1923 — February 22, 2010

Nashua, NH - Herve J. Loiselle, Jr., beloved husband of Estelle C. (Leblanc) Loiselle, with whom he was married to for 57 years, died Monday February 22, 2010 at his Nashua, NH residence. He was 86.
Born in Lowell on December 4, 1923, a son of the late Herve J. Sr. and Germaine (Mitron) Loiselle.
Herve was a veteran of WWII having enlisted in the Navy on December 8, 1941. He served 6 years. He was assigned to RON21 squadron of the PT boats where he served as a medic.
He was awarded a WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, Philippine Liberation, and Good Conduct Medal. Upon his return from WWII Herve attended Assumption College he later attended the University of Connecticut, where he received a Master's degree in Latin and French.
Herve taught Latin and French for 21 years in the Madison, CT school department. When he retired from teaching Herve moved to New Durham, NH and owned and operated a marina on Merrymeeting Lake for 8 years. He then worked as a purchaser at Computer Vision for 10 years.
Since retirement he passionately looked forward to his yearly trip to Paris, France.
Surviving him besides his wife is a son, Pierre H. Loiselle of VT; a daughter and son in law, Monique and Allen Garrell of Pelham, NH; three grandchildren, Kristin Loiselle, Elizabeth Loiselle, both of CA, Daniel Bishop of Pelham, NH; and a sister Sr. Germain Loiselle SND, of Ipswich. He was also the brother of the late Rev. Lucien Loiselle.
