Henry E. Dery, 85, a resident of North Las Vegas, NV for the past 20 years, formerly of the Centralville Section of Lowell, died Monday August 8, 2011 at the Kindred Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. He was the husband of the late Claire T. (Berube) Dery.
Born in Lowell on December 29, 1925, he was a son of the late Joseph T. and Angelina (Corbeil) Dery.
In 1943, Henry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps having served during both WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He was a proud member of the Shriners of Wilmington and Laborers Union Local 429.
Survivors include five sons, Maurice J. Dery and his wife, Donna of Townsend, David P. Dery and his wife, Cheryl of Detroit, MI, Richard C. Dery and his wife, Lisa of Tyngsboro, Robert M. Dery of Las Vegas, NV, and Roger E. Dery of Lowell; a daughter, Jeannine Clohesy of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Travis, Stephen, Melissa, and Christina Dery, Justin Clohesy; two great grandchildren, Gemma and Hudson Clohesy; three sisters, Doris Howard of Hudson, NH, Ruth Wasylak of Dracut, Rose Marie Boucher of Dracut.
He was the brother of the late Maurice Dery, Laura Bourassa and Mary Howard.
