Henry J. "Hank" Cyronis, a Dracut resident and beloved husband of the late Shirley M. (McGee) Cyronis, died Friday October 31,2014 at a local healthcare facility. He was 85.
Born in Lowell on January 10, 1929 Hank was the son of the late Joseph Paul and Sophie Mary (Jackimowicz) Cyronis.
He was educated in the Lowell Schools and graduated from Lowell High School. Hank served in the US Army and upon his return home he moved to Dracut and built his home.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a machinist at Raytheon for 25 years.
Hank was an avid golfer who traveled everywhere from Cape Cod to California to play. He also enjoyed playing pool. Hank was also an ardent sports fan who liked NASCAR, the Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots.
Survivors include his sister Stasia Rudgis of Dracut; a first cousin Jane Sheridan of Dracut; a brother in law and sister in law Richard and Lucille McGee of Canterbury, CT and their children Lucinda and Timothy; many cousins including his caregiver Cyndy Craig, Godson Tom Romaniecki, Linda Baker all of Dracut; and a few close friends. Hank also leaves his beloved cat Princess. He was the brother of the late Viola Flaler and Wanda Carle
