Obituary - Helen J. Plouffe
Lowell - Helen J. (Gazda) Plouffe, 85, wife of Norbert R. Plouffe, a Lowell resident, died Thursday December 15, at a local nursing home.
She was born in Lowell on December 9, 1920, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Patla) Gazda.
Mrs. Plouffe was a member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
Mrs. Ploufe enjoyed cooking, crocheting and embroidering.
Surviving her besides her husband are three daughters and a two sons-in-law, Dorothy and John Hayes of Lowell, Marianne and James Luedtke of Dracut and Debora Courtemanche of Dracut; three sisters, Rose Maille and her husband Raymond of Dracut, Sophie Thibault of Lowell and Stephanie Carignan of FL; seven grandchildren, John Hayes, Angela Robarge, Jonathan Hayes, Christopher Luedtke, Keith, Andrew and Christina Courtemanche; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frederick Gazda, Sr. Mary Agnes Gazda and Sr. Aloysius Gazda.
